Our sweetheart was 79 years old when he passed away. We had a sweet life together; we wore out three motor homes and three boats with family and friends. We built by hand two homes. He drove truck on the road 36 years with Garrett and Northwest Freightliners. His past included the Army, Eagle Scouts, and being a ski instructor. Ron loved to cook, listen, and watch--talking was left to others.

The love of his life was his wife Beverly (59 years), his four sons and one daughter. Mike (deceased), Steve, Tom, Cindy, and Jon. And his six grandchildren Sadie, Scott, Willie, Eric, Morgan, and Alexander. Spouses Annette, Vicki, Roxanne, Sue, and Gordon. Wonderful time was spent teaching them to fish, camp, and enjoy nature. We skied in the winter and boated in the summer. We cooked on campfires, and the kids slept under the stars. Dad loved his motorhome and left the ground to the younger ones. He loved to drive his motorhome around the USA, including to and from Alaska. Being a truck driver, it was nothing to wake up in Salt Lake, drive to the Grand Canyon, take a look, and drive back. We spent many mornings simply watching the sun rise while drinking a cup of coffee in every campground across the USA.

Modern medicine gave Ron more years than he may have wanted, but he did not complain. The good days he shared with the family; the bad days he kept to himself.
