Obituary

St. George, Utah – Ronald "Ron" Caso was born on May 24, 1937, in San Diego, California to George and Velma Cutler Caso. He returned to his Heavenly Father on December 1, 2021. Ron leaves behind one brother, Dave (Beverly) Caso of Yucaipa, California; two sisters: Georgia (Larry, deceased) Sant of Pocatello, Idaho, and Sandy (Don) Shafer of St. George, Utah; sons: Paul (Kim) Caso of Monroe, Utah and Dean (Jenice) Caso of West Jordan, Utah; and daughter, Cindy (Brett) Adams of Syracuse, Utah. He also leaves behind Nora Richie Ludloff of St. George, who was like a daughter to him.

Ron served three years in the United States Navy. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Crist of Latter-day Saints and served as a missionary in Sweden for two years. Upon his return home, he married Janet Hansen. They later divorced. He completed five years of college and graduated from Brigham Young University. He served in various positions in the LDS Church including Elder's Quorum President, Seventy Group Leader, one of the Seven Presidents of Seventy, High Priest's Group Counselor and Gospel Doctrine Teacher.

Ron was very grateful for the LDS Church, his family, and friends. He looks forward to seeing them again in Heavenly Father's Kingdom.

A visitation will be held Friday, December 10, 2021, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Metcalf Mortuary, 288 West St. George Blvd., St. George, Utah.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, December 11, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. at Tonaquint Cemetery, 1777 South Dixie Drive, St. George, Utah.
