Rory Lynn Darrington, age 59, finally got sick and tired of being sick and tired. The day he decided to go was July 11, 2016. He was born in Brigham City, Utah on January 8th 1957 to Rulon and Avanell Darrington. He married Cheryl Tew in Salt Lake City, Utah on May 6th, 1976. They were sealed for time and eternity in the Salt Lake City Temple.
Rory lived most of his youth in Toquerville, Utah. He graduated from Hurricane High School in 1975. He was skilled in every aspect of construction, including cabinet building, landscaping, and concrete.
Rory enjoyed being a father and grandfather, being a neighbor and friend, and he enjoyed golfing, shooting, hunting and camping. Ultimately, he dedicated his life to hard work, and supporting his loving family. Rory left the world surrounded by two types of people-- those that love him and those who wish they knew him.
He is survived by his wife Cheryl Darrington, children: Chris (Erykah), Kim (Jeron), Justin (Nicki), Brandon (Keesha), Jacob (McKenzie); grandchildren: Taylor, Kolby, Jordan, Kaily, Kade, Ryan, Cage, Jack, Warden, Rockwell, and Jace.
