Las Vegas, Nevada - Rose-Marie White Timmons passed away April 20, 2013. She was born August 14, 1930 in Sacramento, California to Chauncey Oscar and Marie McMurdie Bourne.
She was raised in California for most of her life, graduating from UCLA and later married Jack White in the Logan LDS Temple. Rose-Marie and Jack lived in Northridge, California for many years where they started their family and raised their three children.
In 1977, they relocated to St. George (Bloomington) Utah. She worked at Dixie College as Division Secretary in the Fine & Performing Arts for 15 years. Jack proceeded her in death. She then married Roy Timmons and moved to Centerville, Utah. Roy proceeded her in death.
Rose-Marie was an active member of the LDS church, holding many church positions throughout her life. She was a florist, master gardener, as well as an artist. She had a joy for music, loved her family, pets, and traveled the world. She spent her last 10 years courageously living her life with Alzheimer's in Las Vegas, NV.
She is survived by her three children: Steven (Sandy) White, Patti (Rusty) McAllister, and Jon White; 11 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, April 25, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at the St. George City Cemetery. A visitation will be held Thursday, prior to services, from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Metcalf Mortuary, 288 West St. George Blvd., St. George, Utah.
