St. George, Utah- Rose Marie Shakespeare Roundy, 76, passed away on November 5, 2015. She was born on February 28, 1939 in St. George, UT, to Grover C. Shakespeare and Delna Bulloch (her perfect mother), as their first baby girl. On May 4, 1956, she married Duaine Kay Roundy in St. George and they were sealed on October 21, 1959 in the St. George LDS Temple. They moved to Montana shortly after they were married and raised their seven children there. She would always make her kid's favorite meals on their birthday and even had a special birthday plate they used. Rose and Duaine showed their kids how to work as they had a fruit stand for many years. Rose was quite daring as an adult even riding a motorcycle and had the nickname "motorcycle mama!" She loved family reunions and doing the counting jars. Rose loved a good party and playing games all night. As the grandchildren came she would have grandma parties with them where she would do fun stuff only Grandma would let them do. Rose faithfully served and enjoyed all her church callings but especially in the primary, Sunbeams were her favorite! Just like her father, she loved her Temple callings. Whether working in the clothing or as an ordinance worker, she loved being in the Temple. The Temple brought her great peace and comfort! She was proud of her mission call to the Temple. It was something her and Duaine did together every week. She was proud of and loved the missionaries in her family and even had a wall in her home dedicated to them. She is survived by her husband; Duaine, children; Lewis (Kim), Connie (Rick) Blake, Ron (Bev), Lane (deceased) and daughter-in-law Leesa, Bruce (Chery), Lloyd (Holly), Janette (Gary) Stratton and numerous beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by loved ones including her parents, son and grandson, Cory. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 7, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at the St. George Stake Center, located at 591 West 500 North.
