St. George, Utah
– Rosemary Gehrke McKillop, age 82, passed away July 12, 2016. Rosemary was born on December 4, 1933 in Monroe Wisconsin to Paul and Nellie Menehan Gehrke. Her family later moved to Milwaukee where she grew up to develop a great passion for music and learned to play many instruments including piano, organ, violin, and accordion. In 1952, Rosemary married Joseph McKillop and celebrated 64 years of their lives together.
Rosemary is survived by her four daughters: Mary Jo Tyryfter, Colleen Rose Radtke (Roy), Barbara Nell McKillop, and Patricia Ann Przybylka (Jeff); ten grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and brother, Joseph Gehrke. She is preceded in death by her parents; her step-daughter, Kathleen Braatz; her sister, Carol Kowalewski; and brothers, Paul and Robert Gehrke. She is also remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 16, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at the Sunset LDS 7th Ward Chapel, 415 North Westridge Drive, St. George, Utah. A visitation will be held Saturday, prior to services, from 1:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Chapel. Interment will be in the St. George City Cemetery.
