Obituary

St. George, UT - Ruby Clara Densley, 91, passed away peacefully Friday, February 11, 2011 in St. George, Utah. She was born November 13, 1919 in Bingham, Utah. She and her brother, George were adopted and raised by Reuben Osborne and Clara Amelia Baltzerson. Ruby married Dan "Bill" LaVoe Densley on January 12, 1937 in Salt Lake City, Utah. They had four children. Bill and Ruby moved to Heber City, UT and lived in the Heber Valley for over 25 years. They loved to travel and had the opportunity to visit various places around the world, including Thailand where they stayed for several months while Bill helped his son, Ben build a home. Ruby loved to read and also wrote several unpublished books. She entertained all those around her with her stories, both true and imagined. She loved being with family, doing crossword puzzles, playing with babies and eating chocolate (not necessarily in that order). She was loved by many and will be greatly missed. Goodbye Ruby Girl. We love you. And fun was had by all. Ruby is survived by her children: Reuben (Karen) Densley of Merritt Island, FL, Danya (Brent) Eichers of St. George, UT, Rosemary Sue (Dennis) Olsen of St. George, UT and David Densley of Heber City, UT; brother, George Osborne of Hurricane, UT; 15 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bill and her great grandson, Zane Andrew Collins. A viewing and family gathering will be held Wednesday, February 16, 2011 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. at The Metcalf Mortuary, 288 W. St. George Blvd., St. George, Utah. Arrangements entrusted to the care of Metcalf Mortuary, 435-673-4221.
