Hurricane, Utah - Rulon George Brox, 86, passed away on November 22, 2013. He was born in Salina, Utah on November 9, 1927 to George and Rachael Brox. He married his eternal sweetheart, Barbara Lea Fulford, on September 17, 1948. He served honorably in the U.S. Navy during the end of WWII. After the war, he and Barbara returned to Utah, where he worked for Utah Power and Light Co. until retiring in 1987. He will be remembered as a hard worker, a kind and patient father, a loving husband and a helpful neighbor. He is survived by his wife Barbara, and his three children, Kevin, Kim, and Lea, 12 grandchildren, and 14 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 26 at 11:00 a.m. at Metcalf Mortuary, 288 West St. George Blvd., St George Utah. A visitation will be held Tuesday, prior to services, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., at the Mortuary. Interment will be in Marysvale, Utah.
