St. George, UT - Ruth Rose Kelley, 93, passed away peacefully of natural causes Saturday, October 9, 2010 at the St. George Care and Rehab Center, St. George, Utah. She was born November 2, 1916 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Orin William Bates, Jr. and Rose Johnson. She married Joseph T. Kelley, Jr. November 6, 1937 in Tooele, Utah. She is survived by daughter, Ruth Anne Stewart (Harry) of Central, Utah; four grandchildren: Betty Jo Dosh (Ron) of Cortez, Colorado, Ronald Stewart (Yvonne) of Mt. Vernon, Washington, Carol Anne Williams (Richard) of Liverpool, New York and James Stewart (Michele) of Diamond Valley, Utah; 13 great-grandchildren;18 great-great-grandchildren; and sister, Georgia Monroe of Ophir, Utah. She is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph; son Edward; and grandson, Larry Joe Stewart. Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 14, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at the Tate Mortuary, 110 South Main Street, Tooele, Utah. Visitation will be held Thursday from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at the Mortuary, prior to services. Interment will be at the Tooele City Cemetery.
