St. George, Utah - Sandra Emett Dalley, 76, returned home to the loving arms of our Heavenly Father Saturday, January 25, 2014. She was born to the late Merl and Reva Emett, July 10, 1937 in Enterprise, UT. She was the oldest of five children. Sandra graduated from Dixie College and Utah State University with a teaching degree in Elementary Education. It was there she met her husband, Stan, and they were married in October 1958. Together, they went to Orleans, France where Stan served his time in the Army. She began teaching in France at the American dependent school and went on to be a dedicated teacher for over 20 years, touching the lives of hundreds of young children and their families.

Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt, Sandra held a passion for family and the gospel of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. As an active member, she served in many callings over the years. She loved to travel and took trips all over the world with her husband. She always had her camera close by to take pictures of loved ones and the beauty she found all around her. Sandra and Stan sang for numerous wedding receptions and in the Heritage choir for many years. She truly blessed the lives of many with her gentle manner and nurturing heart.

Sandra is survived by her husband, Leland Stanford Dalley; daughters: Heather Guymon and Terece Bundy; grandchildren: Austin, Dakota and Challen Bench, Hannah Guymon, Rebekah, Joseph and Joshua Bundy; great-granddaughter, Saviya Thomas; and siblings: Sylva Thomas, Susan Bishoff, Bryce Emett and Marie Simkins. She was also preceded in death by granddaughter, Rachel Bundy.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 1, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at the Bloomington LDS 4 ^th Ward Chapel, 3381 South Mulberry Drive, St. George, Utah. Visitations will be held Friday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Metcalf Mortuary, 288 West St. George Blvd. and Saturday, prior to services, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., at the Chapel. Interment will be in the Enterprise City Cemetery, Enterprise, Utah.
