Washington, Utah - Scott Rulon Werner passed away suddenly on March 11, 2024. He was born March 21, 1957, in American Fork, Utah, to Jacqueline Carter and Glen Harold Werner. He spent his early childhood years in American Fork with love and support from his mother and grandparents F. Rulon and June Nicholes. When his mother married Richard K. Griffin in 1968, the family moved to Cedar City, Utah. Scott graduated from Cedar City High School in 1975. He was involved with scouting, athletics, student government, and music. In fact, he started his own band at age 13. He served a full-time mission for the LDS Church in Puerto Rico. Scott married Susan Bushnell, on January 6, 1979, in the St. George Temple; they later divorced. They raised five children: Nathan, Richard, Kristal, Steven, and Camille.

Scott earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology/Animal Biology from Southern Utah University, formerly Southern Utah State College. He earned a Doctor of Medicine degree from the St. Louis University School of Medicine in Missouri. He then completed an OB/GYN residency at Good Samaritan Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona. He and his family returned to Cedar City in 1990 where he began his medical practice. He later transitioned to general medicine and integrated alternative healing with his vast medical knowledge and intuitive insight.

In 2002, by God's divine grace, Scott met his eternal love, Vicki. They married on February 28, 2003. He felt blessed and honored to expand his role as a father to Vicki's three children: Sharlie, Audrie, and Danyen. They moved to St. George, Utah where together they had two additional daughters: Cloie and Sofie. Vicki's father built Scott and Vicki's dream home and they moved to Washington City, Utah in 2014. Scott loved to work in his garden and sit in the sun, but most of all he loved swimming in his backyard pool with his family. Scott and Vicki's marriage was one of fairytales with a love story that inspired all who witnessed it. They adored each other and Scott always told everyone that they were on an eternal honeymoon. They traveled the world together and renewed their wedding vows in over 30 countries. Their home was always filled with love and their hearts continued to expand as their family grew. In 2005 Scott left traditional medicine and opened up an herb store, Health and Longevity, where he offered Spiritual Intuitive readings and supported thousands of people on their healing journey. Scott's attention was always on the ascension and healing of the planet. He stayed in constant prayer and connection with ascended masters, especially St. Germaine and Jesus. This was his passion. Scott was an incredible public speaker. His messages of healing and hope inspired everyone who heard him. His toning and the blessings he gave were incredibly inspiring and healing.

He left a legacy of love, forgiveness, hope, and service that will carry on in future generations.  He will be missed on levels we can't imagine by all those who knew and loved him. Scott is survived by the love of his life, Vicki Werner; children: Nathan (Laci) Werner, Richard Werner, Kristal (Brad) Whitesel, Steven Werner, Camille Werner, Sharlie (Michael) Thorpe, Audrie (Chris) Frehner, Danyen McLendon, Cloie Werner, Sofie Werner; grandchildren: Caleb, Bladen, Jax, Isabelle, Isla, Owen, Layne, Kieran, and Vhari; stepfather, Richard Griffin; mother-in-law, Shariel Blackmore; siblings: Craig (Deanna) Werner, Jolynn (Todd) Skousen, David Werner, Michael Werner, Cathy (Roger) Hill, Teresa (Ron) Lindberg; in-laws: Angela (Franko) Mandato, James Blackmore, Vincent (Danyale) Blackmore, Syndi Blackmore, Richard (Joni) Blackmore, Barbara (Lex) de Azevedo; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Glen Werner and Jacqueline Carter Griffin; siblings: Carl Werner, Sharon Grady, Kent Werner; grandson, Knox Werner; and father-in-law, Jim Blackmore.

It was Scott's wish to be cremated. We will honor our dear husband, father, brother, friend, and son at his Celebration of Life, on Friday, March 22, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at the LDS Chapel located at 1867 South Washington Fields Rd., Washington, Utah with a luncheon to follow.
