IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Shirley Ann
Woolsey
November 9, 1934 – June 7, 2022
Cedar Hills – Our loving mother and grandmother, Shirley Ann Woolsey passed away peacefully surrounded by family on June 7, 2022, at the age of 87. She was born November 9, 1934, in Salt Lake City, Utah. The second of three daughters to Wayne Ackman and Grace Leavitt Munn.
She married the love of her life, Don W. Woolsey, on January 3, 1952, in Salt Lake City, Utah. They loved to travel the United States together in their RV. They lived in several different places throughout their lives, with a lot of years spent in Salt Lake City and St. George.
She worked very hard for many years and had a strong work ethic. She loved spending time with her family.
Shirley was an avid bowler for over 50 years and enjoyed beating her grandchildren's bowling scores by more than double most of the time. She enjoyed camping, fishing, crocheting, bowling, and especially playing the slot machines in Mesquite!
She is survived by her two sons, Craig Woolsey and Brent (Geannie) Woolsey; two grandchildren, Brielle (Tyler) Bernards and Cody Woolsey; and sister, Betty Jake. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Don, her parents, and a sister.
