Bryce Andrew Christensen, 37, passed away on September 1, 2025, in Tacoma, Washington. Born on February 12, 1988, in Lancaster, California, Bryce brought light and laughter into the lives of those around him from an early age. His vibrant spirit and infectious sense of humor made a lasting impression on everyone he met. He was known for his quick wit and joyful presence—he loved to laugh and had a remarkable ability to make others laugh with him.

Bryce dedicated his life to serving others through his work as a wildland firefighter. His courage and commitment were evident in the demanding environments he faced while protecting natural landscapes and communities. In addition to firefighting, Bryce worked closely with struggling youth in wilderness settings. Through these experiences, he offered guidance and support to young people navigating difficult paths, helping them reconnect with nature and themselves.

Bryce proudly served in the United States Army, dedicating himself to a life of service with quiet strength and unwavering commitment. His time in the military was a testament to his courage and sense of duty.

Those who knew Bryce will remember his deep love for the outdoors and animals. Whether hiking through nature or spending time with beloved pets, he found peace and joy in the natural world. Music was another passion that filled his life with rhythm and meaning. His laughter—bright, infectious, and unforgettable—could lift spirits and bring people together. He was known for his kindness and gentle spirit, always offering a smile or a helping hand.

Bryce is lovingly remembered by his wife Megan Christensen, mother Carol Christensen (Bennett Navarro), father Byron Christensen (Johanna Christensen), sister Robyn Dixon (Devin Dixon), brother Tyler Christensen (Abbi Christensen), half-brother Dallin, and step-siblings Danielle (Alex) and Jesse (Siena). He also leaves behind nieces and nephews Boston, Lucy, Vivienne, Reese, Lilienne, CeceJune, Greta, Liam, Sophia, and Isaac.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents Wayne and Ramona Houston, Sharon Christensen, step-grandma Mary Christensen and nephew Tye Horner.

Bryce's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. He was a wonderful husband, son, brother, and friend--deeply cherished by those who knew him. Bryce's warmth, humor, and compassion left an incredible mark on the hearts of many. May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him and continue to inspire acts of kindness and courage.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, September 19, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at the Santa Clara City Cemetery, 1950 Ancestor Way, Santa Clara, Utah.
