Washington, Utah – Stanford Carter Larson was born February 9, 1936, in Washington, Utah to Raymond Larson and Berneice Carter. He was 86 years young.  He died August 27, 2022, at IMED in Murray Utah, with family by his side. He suffered a brain aneurysm while walking his dog, Cody Boy. He hit his head when falling and was not able to recover. He was very active before his death. He grew up in Washington, Utah. He attended school until 8 ^th grade.

Stanford was an auto body repair technician, working for both Bradshaw Ford in St. George Utah, and later Butterfield Ford in Sandy, Utah. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He and his wife Jouette served a mission in the Bishops Storehouse in Sandy, Utah.

Stanford loved fishing and hunting and all things outdoors. In his later years he volunteered for the Huntsman World Senior Games. He ushered at Tuacahn Center for the Arts.

He married Ramona Prisbrey. They had one child, Laureda. They later divorced. He married Bonnie Thompson. They later divorced. He married Lucile Gardner. They had four children: Stanford Kay, Bruce Wayne, Ricky Birt (deceased), and Roxane. They later divorced. He married Jouette Lamoreaux. She preceded him in death. He married MaryKaye Graber. She preceded him in death.

Stanford is survived by his children: Laureda West (Kelly), Stanford Kay, Bruce Wayne, and Roxane Kogianes (Mike); and half-sister, Donna Rae Siler. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, and 23 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings: Ronald Carter, Dorothy Graf, and Rayneice Wittwer; his son, Ricky Birt; and also both of his former wives: Jouette and MaryKaye.

Funeral services will be held Friday, September 2, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. in the Snow Canyon 6 ^th Ward Chapel, 1610 North Dixie Downs Road, St. George, Utah. A visitation will be held Friday, prior to the service, from 12:00 p.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the church. Interment will be in the Washington City Cemetery, 300 Park View Drive, Washington, Utah.
