St. George, Utah - Stanley Strom Rock passed away February 9, 2012. He was born January 23, 1919 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Peter Isaiah and Hulda Strom Rock. In 1946, he married Shirley Grace Manning in Long Beach, CA.

Stanley was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley and grandson, Christopher Stanley Rock. He is survived by his children: Monte (Terri) Rock, Stan (Cathy) Rock and Vicki (Bryce) Lewis; 12 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, February 16, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. at the Ivins City Cemetery, Ivins, Utah. A visitation will be held Thursday, prior to services, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Metcalf Mortuary, 288 West St. George Blvd., St. George, Utah.
