Glendora, CA – Steve Bruce Briest, 85, passed away April 13, 2023, in Glendora, California. He was born July 12, 1937, to Margie Jacobs and Bruce Briest. He was born and raised in Helper, Utah.

On November 8, 1958, he married Barbara Ann Murray in Bermuda where he was stationed in the Air Force.

They moved to Covina, California where he worked as a Parole Agent. They later moved to St. George, Utah. In 1999, Steve and Barbara were sealed in the Salt Lake Temple.

Steve is survived by his children: Tamra, Jeff, Bruce, and Brenda; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandson. He is deeply loved and will be missed.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, April 29, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. in Tonaquint Cemetery, 1777 South Dixie Drive, St. George, Utah. A visitation will be held Saturday, prior to services, from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Metcalf Mortuary, 288 West St. George Blvd., St. George, Utah.
