St. George, Utah - Steven Brent Allred, 82, beloved husband, sibling, father, grandfather, great grandfather passed away on January 26, 2025, peacefully at home with his wife Deb by his side.

Brent was born in Heber City, Utah, the oldest child of Eldon and Barbara Allred. Brent spent his formative years working for his parents on the U-Bar Ranch in the high Uintas. After graduating from Wasatch high school, he briefly attended BYU.  Brent was enthusiastic about health and fitness, which led him to competitive bodybuilding and his love of healthy cooking.

Brent spent his entire working career at USF&G. Upon retirement he moved to Southern Utah.  An avid outdoorsman, he spent his time hiking, biking, hunting, fly fishing and golfing.

Brent was fond of traveling, his favorite place to travel was Hawaii. He also enjoyed video poker and made frequent trips to Mesquite, Las Vegas, and Reno.

Brent is survived by his loving wife, Deb Allred, his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, his sister, nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents.
