St. George, UT - Steven Charles Keith, age 56, passed away on June 1, 2010. He was born on August 10, 1953 in Choteau, MT to Neal and Vivian Keith. He married Jacqueline Johnson, daughter of Robert and Dolores Johnson, on June 20, 1976 in Fairfield, MT. Steve was a farmer in Fairfield, MT until he moved his family to Townsend, MT in 1983 where he continued to work in agriculture buying a grain and feed business. He loved following his kids to their sporting events and hunted whenever he got a chance. Steve and Jacqueline moved to St. George, UT in 1998 due to his failing health. Steve is preceded in death by his parents and is survived by his wife, Jacqueline Keith of St. George, UT daughter Christine and her husband Richard Rasmussen and their daughter Shaylee Skye of San Mateo, CA, son Robert Keith and his two daughters Shelby Ann and Cienna Elizabeth of St. George, UT, sister Janis and her husband Kim Redman of Missoula, MT, brother Roger Keith of Conrad, MT as well as numerous other relatives and friends. A memorial service will be held on Monday, June 7, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at the New Promise Lutheran Church, 244 South Valley View Dr., St. George, UT. Arrangements entrusted to the care of Metcalf Mortuary, (435) 673-4221. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to the New Promise Lutheran Church Building Fund. An additional memorial service will be held on Friday, June 18, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at The Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church in Townsend, MT.
