St. George, Utah - Steven Gary Orchard lost his nine month courageous fight with cancer on June 3, 2013. He was born May 16, 1950 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Laraine P. and William Gary Orchard. He retired after 24 years of military service, then retired after 10 years of service in the Veterans Administration. He is survived by his parents; brother, Michael (Brenda) Orchard; and sister, Colette (Clyde) Krammer.

Graveside services will be held Friday, June 7, 2013 at 9:00 a.m. at the Tonaquint Cemetery. A visitation will be held Friday, prior to services, at 8:00 a.m. at Metcalf Mortuary, 288 West St. George Blvd., St. George, Utah. Arrangements entrusted to the care of Metcalf Mortuary, (435) 673-4221.
