Washington, Utah - Steven C. Sorensen passed away June 1, 2012. He was born May 1, 1946, the only child to William Charles and May Hansen Sorensen. He married Carole Park November 27, 1987 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Steven graduated from Westminister College with a BS Degree and a degree in mathematics. He was very technically oriented. He worked for Unisys Corp in Salt Lake City for 15 years before starting his own computer company in St. George, Utah. He was always willing to help others at any time. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Steven is survived by his wife, Carole; children: Douglas Sorensen, Mickey Sorensen and Jodi Osborn, all of Salt Lake City, Utah; and step-daughter, De Anna Thayne of Delta, Utah.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, June 6, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. at the Washington City Cemetery. A visitation will be held Wednesday, prior to services, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Metcalf Mortuary, 288 West St. George Blvd., St. George, Utah.
