Sue Knight Bollin, age 69, passed away July 16, 2024, at her home in Paradise, Texas.  She was born October 14, 1954, in Henderson, Nevada to Victor Berdell Knight and Betty Jane Hardy Knight. She was the middle child of seven.

Sue went to Virgin Valley Schools in Mesquite, Nevada and graduated in 1972.

She married Warren Blount for the first time in Mesquite, they were later divorced to be reunited again years later. Sue's other love and marriage was Joseph Bollin. He preceded her in death, as did Warren by 12 days.

Children loved Sue! All of the nieces and nephews were hers. They loved being with her and staying at her home. And not just the family children, she picked up stray children and loved and nurtured them too! Wherever she went, there were always a few or more children with her. Children and 4 legged friends were her favorite beings in life!

Sue worked for the Post Office for years and excelled at her job. Many people loved coming into the post office to see her. She also was a cashier in later years in Boyne City, Michigan and Bridgeport, Texas.

Sue is preceded in death by her parents, Victor B. Knight and Betty J. Hardy Knight; sister, Toni R. Knight Spiller; husbands: Joseph R. Bollin and Warren Blount; and a nephew, Kyle Knight.  She is survived by her sisters: Penny L. Belford (Terry) and Jean McLean (David); and brothers: Larry Knight, Les Knight and Ross Knight.

Graveside service will be held Tuesday, July 30, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at the Mesquite City Cemetery, 301 Hillside Drive, Mesquite, Nevada.
