ST. GEORGE, UTAH - Sue Coles Harvey, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away at the age of 70 on Saturday, January 28, 2012 in St. George, Utah, surrounded by her family and loved ones. She was born in Ogden, Utah to Fred and Eldora Coles on April 18, 1941. She was the eldest of three sisters: Ila Kaye (Bill) Griffin, of Charlo, Montana; and Elizabeth (Rick) O'Brien of Grand Junction, Colorado.

She married the love of her life, Harry Eugene Harvey on December 28, 1960 in Dillon, Montana. Their marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on June 22, 1962. Together they raised 10 children: Karen (Dave) Davis of Logan, Utah; Pam (Randy) Opheikens of Rigby, Idaho; Carolyn (Todd) Norton of St. George, Utah; William (Cyndi) Harvey of Lawrence, Kansas; Annette Olson of St. George, Utah; Steven (Susan) Harvey and Robert (Kelly) Harvey of Lawrence, Kansas; Linda (Asim) Kovacevic of Las Vegas, Nevada; Debbie (Brandon) Moore of Washington, Utah; and Patricia (Bruce) Hedges of Cedar City, Utah; 22 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.

Sue was an active member of the LDS church and served in many capacities.

Funeral services will be held Monday, January 30, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the Foster Hills LDS Ward, 1740 East Foremaster Drive, St. George, Utah. Visitation will be held Sunday evening, January 29, 2012 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Metcalf Mortuary, 288 West St. George Boulevard, St. George, Utah, and Monday, January 30, 2012 from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Foster Hills LDS Ward Chapel. Interment will follow services at Tonaquint Cemetery, 1777 West Dixie Drive, St. George, Utah. Arrangements entrusted to the care of Metcalf Mortuary, 435-673-4221.
