Penne Moore ST. GEORGE - Susan Penelope Penne Moore, age 70, died February 23, 2010 at her home. She was born December 12, 1939 in Orange County, California to Harlan Dixon and Hazel Lorene Heil Moore. She graduated from Dixie High School in St. George. Penne had worked as a data programmer in the office machines industry. She also was an Avon representative for many years. She was an avid reader and enjoyed gardening and a variety of crafts. She was a talented floral arranger and recently took up beading and making jewelry. In earlier years, she raised finches. Through the years, she enjoyed spending time with her family at the Diamond Valley Ranch. Penne was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She is survived by her daughter, Kim A. Schnitzius-Wampler and husband Rick, and their children, Shyann and Ricky all of Chandler, Arizona; her sister, Dixon and Algene Spud Graff of St. George; several special nieces, nephews and cousins. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 27, 2010 at the Metcalf Mortuary Chapel, 288 West St. George Blvd. A gathering for family and friends will be held from 10:30 - 11:00 a.m. at the mortuary on Saturday morning.
