St. George, Utah –Tamara "Tammy '' Suzanne Burrows, age 56, completed her journey on earth March 17, 2024, in St. George, Utah. She was born with Down Syndrome in St. George, Utah to Wesly S. & Wilma C. Burrows on July 15, 1967.  The seventh daughter of seven girls, Tammy was always our little angel.

Tammy enjoyed the finer things in life: food, family, friends, and fun! She participated in the Special Olympics, school, and her day program with Rise. Tammy was an artist at heart. She colored with her crayons, markers, and watercolors for hours on end! She collected Barbie Dolls, put together puzzles, and made perfect sandwiches. Tammy filled her calendar with smiley faces and loved to sing and dance to all kinds of music. Throughout her life, Tammy's happy and gentle nature brought joy to all that knew her. She loved her family, roommates, and everyone that helped her on her journey. She was a great soul in a little body.

There are some who bring a light so bright to the world that even after they have gone, their light remains. Tammy's light remains with all those she loved. She is survived by her six sisters: Wendy Durrant, Jill Burrows, Patti Cerf, Debbie Phillips, Stephanie Morris, Barbie Christensen; and many nephews and nieces.

Graveside services will be held Friday, March 29, 2024, at 2:00 p.m., with a visitation prior from 1:15 p.m. to 1:45 p.m., at the Memorial Lake Hills Cemetery, 10055 South State Street, Sandy, Utah.
