St. George, UT - Tedd E. Gottfredson, 77, passed away in his home on December 19, 2013 in St. George, UT. He was born May 31, 1936 in Springville, Utah to Wilford J. and Melva Gammell Gottfredson . On September 14, 1963 he married June Thornton in Springville, Utah.

Tedd grew up in Springville, Utah. At the age of 17, following graduation, he joined the Navy during the Korean Conflict. He worked as a trucker until moving to Las Vegas in 1962 where he worked as an operating engineer for over fifty years. He moved to St. George in 2007. He loved the outdoors, camping, fishing, hunting with his family. He enjoyed throwing horseshoes, going to the rodeo and gardening.

Survivors include his wife: June of St. George; one son and three daughters: Chris of Las Vegas NV; Tara (Bret) Bananto of Las Vegas, NV; Julie (Shawn) Cross of St. George, UT; Susan (Mark) Zannis of Henderson, NV; 12 Grandchildren; two brothers, Lynn (Nancy) of Sandy, UT and Bob (Glenna) of Springville, UT. He was preceded by one brother, Glen and one sister, Evelyn.

Funeral services will be held Friday, December 27, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Metcalf Mortuary Chapel, 288 West St. George Blvd., St. George, Utah. A visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., prior to services at the mortuary. Interment will follow in the Tonaquint Cemetery.
