Theresa Frances Hillegas Morgan, a longtime resident of St. George, Utah, passed away peacefully on July 18, 2025. She was 92 years old.

A proud Navy nurse, Theresa served with courage and compassion during the Vietnam War, dedicating her life to the care and healing of others. In March of 1969, she married the love of her life, Wallace "Wally" Compton Morgan, and they shared nearly five decades of devotion until his passing in 2016.

Theresa had a deep love for animals and found joy in the companionship of her dogs, and of her beloved cat in her later years. Her faith in God was the guiding light of her life—she sought daily to be an instrument in His hands, blessing others with quiet generosity, kindness, and strength.

Though she had no surviving immediate family she leaves behind extended family, friends, and neighbors who will remember her warmth, service, and the gentle spirit she brought to the world.

She will be missed and remembered with gratitude.
