Washington, Utah - Thomas Robert Judd, Jr. of Washington, Utah, aged 78, peacefully passed away on January 1, 2024, in St. George, Utah. He was born on January 17, 1945, in Oakland, California, to Thomas Robert Judd, Sr. and Dorothy Henderson Judd. He married Dorothy May Peyton Judd in the Los Angeles LDS Temple on January 25, 1968.
At six months old, Thomas' family relocated to Spanish Fork, Utah, where his father established a medical practice. He graduated from Spanish Fork High School in 1963 before attending Brigham Young University for a year. Following this, he dedicated two years to a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Central British Mission, serving in England and Wales. Upon his return, he completed his undergraduate studies in Political Science at BYU in 1969, followed by a Master's Degree in Public Administration.
Subsequently, Thomas embarked on a career in information systems, commencing in California as a programmer, system analyst, and eventually a manager. He resided in Long Beach, Upland, and eventually settled in Ontario for 37 years, accompanied by his wife and two children. Throughout his life, he embraced various callings within the Church, notably serving for 12 years in consecutive stake presidencies. Thomas had a passion for building model rockets, photography, Disneyland, and delving into family history. He took great pride in his Irish ancestry.
