St. George, Utah - Thomas E. Watkins, 78, passed away May 22, 2012 from a long illness. Tom was born June 21, 1933 to Earl and Lena May Watkins in Carbon County. He graduated from Carbon High School where he met the love of his life, LeIsle Stevenson and married her May 10, 1953 just prior to his entry into the U.S. Air Force. Tom and LeIsle had three wonderful boys and settled in Wendover, UT where Tom was a successful businessman and Mayor. They then moved to Elko, NV and eventually retired in St. George, UT. Tom was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, great- grandfather, brother and friend.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, LeIsle; his sister, Nedra of Price, UT; sons: Barry (Cynde) of Clancy, MT and their children, Jarrid, Clancy, Travis (Kenna) of Portland OR and Austin of Helena, MT; Kevin and his children, Jake and Kylee of Centralia, WA, Zach and Kady of Montpelier, ID; Jeff of Sagle, ID; brother-in-law, Curtis Stevenson.
