Ivins, Utah – Vance Patrick Ferdinando, 63, passed away June 14, 2021. He was born May 2, 1958, in Salinas, California.

Vance spent most of his life in Salinas and graduated from Salinas High School in 1976. After high school, he went through the classes and training to become one of the best diesel mechanics in the area. In 1998, he moved to St. George, Utah to join other family members who had previously moved there.

Vance is preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Mildred Ferdinando. He will be greatly missed by family and friends. He will be remembered as someone who would always help someone in need, a master mechanic, a hard worker, and a fun-loving personality.

Vance had strong Christian beliefs and has joined family and friends that have preceded him in death in a great celebration in Heaven.

A small private family service and burial were held in the Tonaquint Cemetery. No flowers or donations are necessary. If you feel inclined to do something, please give to the charity of your choice to help someone in need as Vance would have done and wanted.
