Verl Robert Smith Jr

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Verl Robert Smith Jr, August 21, 2026. He was born on July 3rd, 1963, in Youngstown, Ohio. Verl’s parents are Verl Robert Smith Sr. and Lawana Jane Swinerton, both deceased. He is survived by his wife, Alexandra J. Smith, his son, Roby Smith (Verl Robert Smith III) Roby’s wife, Chelsea M. Smith, and his grandchildren James E. Smith and Roman B. Smith. Verl’s siblings and their respective partners, Elena S. Lehman, Joseph A. Smith and his wife Lisa S. Smith, Calvin L. Smith, Kenneth F. Render and his wife Bernie S. Render, and Sean A. Barlow and his wife Meredith V. Barlow. All listed above, and those not listed, look on with heavy hearts at the passing of such a courageous man.

Ceremony will be at the Hurricane Cemetery, 225 E 600 N. Hurricane UT 84737, Friday, August 28th, 10 a.m.
