St. George, UT - Verla Dottie Cardon Yager was born June 20, 1915 to Jesse and Francis Farnsworth Cardon in Logan, Utah. She was the third of ten children. Verla is survived by her brother Emanuel Bob Cardon and her sister Nellie Foote. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Frank Yager, her parents, three brothers and four sisters. Verla passed away of natural causes due to age on October 3, 2012. A visitation will be held on Friday, October 5, 2012 from 9:00 to 9:45 a.m. at Metcalf Mortuary, 288 West St. George Blvd., St. George, Utah followed by graveside services at the St. George City Cemetery at 10:00 a.m. Arrangements entrusted to the care of Metcalf Mortuary, (435) 673-4221.
