Washington, Utah- Verle LaVern Barrow, 79, passed away at Dixie Regional Medical Center on August 24, 2015. He was born in Ogden, Utah on April 13, 1936, the son of LaVern W. and Ruth B. Barrow. He married Margaret A. Empey on August 14, 1965. They were sealed in the Ogden LDS Temple on October 1, 1974. Verle was raised in West Warren, where he was active in musical programs and plays. He served in the Army for two years, most of the time in England and Germany. He worked at HAFB in the computer department, prior to opening Five Points Travel agency. He retired in 2000. Verle is survived by his wife, Margaret; son, Sean L. (Amanda) Barrow of Mt. Orab, Ohio; daughter, Amy Miles of Washington, Utah; and four grandchildren. He is also survived by two sisters: Joan Davis and Deborah Barrow. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Thomas Barrow. Graveside services will be held Saturday, August 29, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the West Warren Cemetery, West Warren, Utah. A visitation will be held on Friday evening from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm. at the West Warren LDS Ward located at 856 North 5900 West.
