Toquerville, Utah – Vern Milton Earl, 84, peacefully passed away on October 24, 2024. He was born November 25, 1939 in Tooele, UT. His parents were Milton and Margaret Earl. He married Evelyn Perkins on April 2, 1960. They were later sealed in the Salt Lake City Temple on June 27, 1968.

Vern was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where he served as a member of the bishopric, young mens, stake high council, stake seventies president and branch president for the prison in Monticello UT, to name a few. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He enjoyed camping, fishing, and sports. He especially loved working in his yard and gardening.

Vern and Evelyn served two full time missions for the church, the first a proselyting mission in Bahia Blanca, Argentina; and the second a temple service mission in Guayaquil, Ecuador.

Vern is survived by his loving wife, Evelyn; his children: Byron (Jill) Earl; Kari (David) Nitzel; Nancy (Gary) Peterson; Shelly (Nathan) Riggs; Denese (Loren) Bleak; Jason (Heather) Earl; Preston (Ermina) Earl; Kristene (James) Armstrong; 28 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren plus 2 more coming; and his sister Marion (Milo) Peck. He is preceded in death by his parents and a granddaughter Kindra Earl.

Funeral services will be held Monday, November 4, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Toquerville Chapel, 63 North Toquerville Blvd., Toquerville, Utah. A visitation will be held on Monday, prior to services, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the church.
