Verna B. Christensen passed away peacefully on December 16th, 2021. She was born on January 18th, 1938 to Vernon Dickerson and Nita Hatch.

She is survived by her husband Gale Christensen; son, Rick Casteel; daughter, Tracy Shelman; and daughter, Jill Kourbelas.

A viewing will be at Metcalf Mortuary from 9:30-10:30 A.M. on Tuesday December 21, 2021 with funeral services at 11 A.M. Burial will take place on Wednesday December 22nd, 2021 at the Syracuse City Cemetery.
