St. George, UT - Victor Ross Van Oostendorp passed away July 18, 2010. He was born June 11, 1931 in Newark, New Jersey. He is survived by his wife Fay; daughters: Stacy Bachman of Mission Viejo, CA and Melinda Van Oostendorp of Kentucky; two granddaughters; three great-granddaughters; two sisters: Adrieanna Vires and Marie Fielding; one brother, Harry Van Oostendorp. Vic was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He served a two year mission in the Netherlands. He taught school for 31 years in Newport Beach, California. He retired to St. George in 1999 where he enjoyed attending all the sporting events at Dixie College. There will be no services at this time.
