IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Whitney Rose
Anderson
September 17, 2007 – May 22, 2022
St. George, Utah – Our beautiful, radiant daughter, Whitney Rose Anderson, was peacefully released from the restrictions of her physical body on May 22, 2022, after a short battle with acute onset pneumonia. There are no words to adequately express our grief and the myriad of ways her joyous presence will be missed. Although her time with us was only 14 ½ years, every day we had together was celebrated to the fullest.
Whitney entered the world September 17, 2007, as a fighter, overcoming seemingly insurmountable odds. Her physical limitations never dampened her ability to shine. Her fiery red hair, sparkling blue eyes, and trademark smile infected us all with the pure love that so effortlessly flowed from her presence.
Whitney was happiest at home, watching her favorite TV shows and surrounded by her deeply devoted and loving family. She enjoyed attending school and was always excited when the bus came to pick her up in the morning.
We are profoundly grateful for the many generous caregivers she had throughout her life. They have become family, and we can never adequately express how much you mean to us. The selfless, loving care you provided to our sweet girl will never be forgotten. We send our thanks to the outstanding special education teachers, paraprofessionals and classmates who loved Whitney unconditionally.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the many doctors and nurses who have become dear friends over the years. They always offered us kind, compassionate care and peace of mind knowing she was in the very best hands.
Whitney will be missed the most by her loving and devoted parents, Brandon and Stephanie Anderson; her brothers: Ethan and Grant Anderson; grandparents: Steve and Rosanne Markham and Janet and Jay Carlson; and honorary family member caregivers: Libby Howell, Sherine Hurst, McKenna Nobis, Hannah Friedel, Kwinci Suwyn, and Amber Beals.
