St. George, Utah - William Alfred Jenson, 95, passed away peacefully on July 17, 2023. He was born January 23, 1928, in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was raised during the depression and was the youngest of three children of Charles and Daisy Jenson. He served in the UT Air National Guard and worked for AT&T as his career in Salt Lake City. He retired in 1964 at the age of 59.

William was preceded in death by his wife of fifty years, Carol N. Jenson; his parents; and his sister, Doris Taylor. He is survived by one sister, Melba Gulliver.

William and Carol retired to St. George, UT where they lived an active life with lifelong friends. He was an avid Utah Jazz fan and enjoyed golfing, bowling, and fishing as favorite pastimes. Between them they had eight children and are survived by: Dale Jenson, Linda Anderson, Mark (Heidi) Jenson, Venus Carney, Jeff (Karen) Olsen, Dan (Kelli) Olsen, Cozette (Tim) Tabor and Kirk Smart.

He will be remembered by all as a kind, loving soul and we will never see his likeness again.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, July 29, 2023, at 3:00 p.m. at Metcalf Mortuary, 288 West St. George Blvd., St. George, Utah.
