St. George, Utah - William (Bill) C. Koharcheck passed away on December 24, 2010. He was born February 13, 1922 in New Salem, Pennsylvania. Bill grew up in Reading, Pennsylvania and resided in Kenhorst for the last 50 years. He served in the Army during WWII in the Philippines and after the war he was stationed in Germany. He won a Bronze Star and was a Marksman during his enlistment. After the war, Bill had a long career as an electrician, retiring from the State of Pennsylvania as a supervisor. Since his retirement in 1984, he enjoyed traveling to Russia, China, Panama, and Europe; bowling, visiting family and various outings with other seniors. He is survived by his two sons: Harry of Winfield, Illinois and Alan of Ivins, Utah. He was a proud grandfather of Aleica Koharcheck of Chicago, Illinois and Christina Koharcheck, who is currently working in Europe. A memorial serve will be held in the spring.
