Enterprise, Utah - Woodruff Leslie Holt, 72, passed away peacefully on January 4, 2012 at Red Cliffs Health and Rehab Center. He was born April 5, 1939 in Cedar City, Utah, the oldest child of Woodruff and Dorithy Holt. Les grew-up in enterprise, Utah, where he attended elementary and graduated from high school. He worked very hard on the ranch and on the farm. He always raised a good garden and helped his neighbors with there gardens.

Les always looked forward to the deer hunt and getting the "big buck". At age 19, he succeeded and got his "big buck". He loved the great outdoors and taking pictures of nature. The mountains were his best friend. He knew every hill and valley, walking thousands of miles looking for arrowheads. Les was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He had a great love for the scriptures and loved to sing and listen to good music. He married Cruz Casarez and they had two sons.

He is survived by his sons: Tobie Leslie Holt and Jodie Woodruff Holt; grandsons, Kayden Holt and Kyle Holt; sisters, Yvonne (Leland) Sprague and Helen (Douglas) Drake; and brother, Shirl (Mary) Holt. He was preceded in death by his father, Woodruff A. Holt; his mother, Dorithy T. Holt;

and brother, Brent Holt.

Graveside services will be held Monday, January 9, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at the Holt Family Cemetery in Enterprise, Utah. Arrangements entrusted to the care of Metcalf Mortuary, (435) 673-4221.
