St. George, UT - Yoshi Okubo Tanaka, passed away November 9, 2010 at the age of 103 in St. George, Utah. A resident of Beehive Assisted Living for the past 3 years. She moved here from Hawaii. A professional artist born February 9, 1907. Raised in Riverside, California, she received her BA in Art from UCLA in 1930. She enjoyed travel, her 7 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. She is survived by sons: Taka and his wife, Jeanie Tanaka of St. George, Tek Tanaka of Riverside, CA and daughter, Seiko Buckingham of San Diego, CA.
