Todd C. Bonzo
Owner/Licensed Funeral Service Director
Todd C. Bonzo has been with the Metcalf Bonzo Mortuary family since 1992. He is a native of southern Utah. Todd was raised in Cedar City, the son of David and Ione Bonzo, and graduated from Cedar High in 1986. After graduation he served in the Utah National Guard (222nd Field Artillery). Todd served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Tennessee Nashville Mission. He attended Southern Utah University, where he met and married his wife Lorie Allred. Todd and Lorie are the proud parents of five children and a growing number of grandchildren. Todd attended mortuary school in Kansas City, Kansas where he graduated from the Kansas City School of Mortuary Science.
Todd was taught and trained by Kenneth R. and K. Ron Metcalf of the importance of serving families with care and dignity. He was rewarded with partnership in the company in 2002 and continues the proud tradition of the "Metcalf Way" today. As he has put it this way... "The legacy of quality professional funeral service continues."
In Todd's time away from the office he loves spending time with his family especially his grandchildren. He enjoys playing a round of golf, coaching high school baseball, wrestling, hunting, going on a good long run, and cheering for the Utah Jazz, BYU Cougars, Boston Redsox, & Kansas City Chiefs.
Todd is an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He believes the most rewarding part of being a funeral professional is the friends he has made, and the ability of making an impactful difference in the lives of the families he serves when it is most needed.

K. Ron Metcalf
Founder/Licensed Funeral Director
Ron Metcalf has lived in St. George for most of his life. He graduated from Dixie High School and Dixie College where he served as Student Body President. He attended University of Utah and Cypress College of Mortuary Service where he was recognized with the annual Hilgenfeld Award as outstanding funeral service student.
Ron married Cindy Stirland formerly of Hurricane, and they have four children, Nicole, Matthew, Mark and Megan. His wife Cindy teaches dance and has completed her Master's degree in education from Southern Utah University.
Involved in the community he is a past president of the Dixie College Alumni Association. He is a past president of the Foundation of Dixie Regional Medical Center and serves on the governing board. He also serves on the State Bank of Southern Utah Board of Directors and has been a volunteer for the St. George Fire Department since 1986. Ron was presented the Lifetime Service Award in Funeral Service at the 2023 Utah Funeral Directors Association Conference for his 40+ years in the profession.
An active member in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Ron served a two year mission in Northern Japan. He enjoys running, horseback riding, and boating with his family.
Being a Funeral Director is a very rewarding profession. "We are able to truly help people. We are able to develop a sincere relationship in a short time frame, and we gain a great deal of satisfaction from serving each family.
Ron believes total commitment to those he serves is very rewarding. Metcalf Bonzo Mortuary with locations in St. George and Hurricane, is the innovative leader in funeral service in our area and assists people from all regions and walks of life.

K. Ron Metcalf
Founder/Licensed Funeral Director

Dustin Mortenson
General Manager/ Licensed Funeral Service Director
Dustin W. Mortenson was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, the son of Wallace Mortenson and Arlene Cannon. Dustin is the oldest, with two younger brothers, Jeremy Mortenson, Brent Jensen and a sister Katlin Mortenson.
Dustin lived in the Salt Lake area until 1986 when his family moved to Southern Utah. He attended local schools; Santa Clara Elementary, Woodward, Dixie & Snow Canyon Middle and then graduating from Snow Canyon High School.
He married Maygen Hutchens in June of 2001 after returning from serving in the Santa Maria, Brazil mission. Maygen and her twin sister Michelle grew up in St. George and attended Pine View High School. Dustin graduated from Dixie College and then attended Cypress Mortuary College in Southern California. After graduating from Cypress they returned to St. George. In 2004, Dustin and Maygen welcomed beautiful twin girls to their family, and in 2009 they welcomed a son into their family. Dustin has enjoyed working in the St. George, Virgin Valley, Moapa Valley and Hurricane Valley areas. Dustin started working for the Metcalf Bonzo family in 2001, and has been a Funeral Director since 2003.
Dustin is an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
Dustin enjoys sports, he played golf, football, basketball and soccer growing up. He played cornerback for Snow Canyon Middle and played fullback for Snow Canyon High Soccer team. Dustin also enjoys coaching soccer. He has always been hands on and likes to tinker with cars, computers and anything he can take apart. He also enjoys cooking, woodworking, spending time outdoors, including hiking, ATV riding, hunting, fishing and camping.

Dustin Mortenson

Brian Stucki
Licensed Funeral Service Director
Brian was born and raised in St. George, Utah. He started working for Metcalf Mortuary as a teen washing cars and doing yard work. His experience there inspired him to pursue a career in Mortuary Services. After graduating from Snow Canyon High School, he served a two-year church service mission in Zurich, Switzerland, where he became fluent in German. Afterward, Brian enrolled at Dixie State College, where he met and fell in love with Emily Turner of Tooele, Utah. In December of 2011, they were married in Manti, Utah. Brian and Emily have a daughter, and three sons.
In 2012, Brian began his funeral service internship with Metcalf Bonzo Mortuary. During his internship, he discovered profound fulfillment in helping people through difficult times. After completing the internship, Brian and Emily moved to Mesa, Arizona, where he was employed with Bunker Family Funeral Homes as a funeral assistant.
Brian attended the 2014 Mortuary Science Program at Mesa Community College. After graduating in 2015, Brian and Emily moved back to St. George, and Brian rejoined the Metcalf Bonzo Mortuary team, employed as a Funeral Director. Serving others has brought Brian much happiness and he looks forward to a lifetime of serving through funeral service.

Brian Stucki
Licensed Funeral Service Director
Brian was born and raised in St. George, Utah. He started working for Metcalf Mortuary as a teen washing cars and doing yard work. Ryan Gabriel "Gabe" Carpenter
Licensed Funeral Service Director
Gabe Carpenter was born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah. He has been around the funeral industry for 38 years. 21 of which has been professional experience. Gabe has a passion for helping people. His interest in funeral service started when he was a young boy while his father worked at a funeral home, which led to him helping out there as a teenager. He earned a degree in general educational studies from Utah Valley State College while deciding which direction to go vocationally. He felt inspired to pursue funeral directing, and graduated with his degree in Mortuary Science from Arapahoe Community College in Littleton, CO.
Gabe served in the Utah Army National Guard and obtained a degree in Intelligence Operations during that time from Cochise College in Sierra Vista, AZ. Being a licensed Funeral Director, Embalmer, and Cremation Specialist in the state of Utah, Gabe takes great pride in helping families at such a difficult time in their life. He considers the funeral profession a calling and is very grateful to be a part of Metcalf Bonzo Mortuary.

Gabe has run four marathons including the St. George, Salt Lake, and Utah Valley twice.

Annie Lang
Licensed Funeral Service Director
Annie was born in South Africa and moved back to the states with her parents when she was two years old. Annie really feels that her mission in the funeral industry is to provide a compassionate and respectful service to all individuals from all walks of life.
In her spare time, Annie can be found spending time with her wife, cat, and traveling wherever the road takes them. She also loves to spend time with family and her best friends, going to concerts, watching her favorite movies and shows, and going on drives to enjoy the Southern Utah scenery.

Annie Lang

Mark Parry
Licensed Funeral Service Director
Mark was born and raised in Price, UT. He lived in Northern Utah most of his life working in management and sales. Mark enjoys helping others through difficult times and has had a passion for funeral service all his life. Mark is married to the love of his life, Krystal. They have two children and four grandchildren. He enjoys hiking, going for walks with his wife, and long bicycle rides.

Virginia Grenier
Human Resources/Accounts Payable Specialist
Virginia Grenier is a seasoned professional who brings a wealth of diverse experience to her role as the Accounts Payable and Human Resources Specialist at Metcalf Mortuary. With a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Bay Path University and a marketing and buying education from the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising (FIDM) in San Diego, Virginia's diverse educational background and experience as a fashion buyer for renowned retailers have allowed her to develop exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills that have become invaluable in her current role.
In addition to her experience in marketing and retail, Virginia has also worked as a certified victim's advocate and in public safety, where she made a significant impact in supporting those affected by crime and ensuring the well-being of her community. As the former director of the St. George Book Festival, Virginia contributed to the cultural enrichment of the community by promoting literacy and the love of reading. As a talented writer, Virginia shares her creative skills through various projects and publications, emonstrating her passion for personal and professional growth.
As the Accounts Payable Specialist at Metcalf Mortuary, Virginia plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the business by managing the ompany's financial obligations. She is responsible for processing and reconciling invoices and maintaining accurate financial records. In addition to these tasks, Virginia also works closely with families to ease the process of life insurance claims, providing compassionate support during a difficult time.
In her role as Human Resources Specialist, Virginia is dedicated to fostering a positive work environment. Virginia's passion for promoting employee engagement, diversity, and inclusion, along with her keen understanding of human behavior, makes her an integral part of the Metcalf Mortuary team.
